These are my juvenile heros Severum. Heros Severum are members of the cichlid family. The female is a five year old gold severum and the male is a two year old green severum. The juveniles are about five months old. There are about 36 young total. The tank is a 55 gallon freshwater lightly planted with java moss and java fern. The fry were hatched at about 80 degrees and fed a diet of fry food via a turkey baster. Later on the fry were fed a mixture of frozen brine shrimp, generic flake, and cichlid bites.
